Here are some answers to some of the questions you may have. If you can't find the answer you are looking for please contact us.

+Homestay FAQs

I will be staying for several weeks. Where can I do my washing?
Your host family will provide one laundry wash per week. If you need more washing done and your host family cannot do it for you, they will show where the nearest launderette is. You are expected to wash your own delicate garments and undergarments.
Can you cater for my special dietary needs (e.g. vegetarian)?
We have a variety of host families so we are able to cater for any of your dietary needs.
Am I able to stay in the same host family as my friend?
We are able to put friends in the same house. You can either share the same room or have a separate room in the same house. We can also put you in separate homes within walking distance if you prefer a little more independence.
I've never been to England and I'm worried about getting to my host family.
Twin Home Stay provide a Meet and Greet service which takes you straight to your accommodation.
I want to be able to cook my own food in my host family.
This is not a problem as we cater for all needs from self catering to full board.
What is considered a host family?
A married couple with/without children
An unmarried couple with/without children
A single mother/father with children
A single male/female without children
If I am incompatible with the host family, will I be able to change?
Yes, if for whatever reason you are not happy, we will change your family.

+Residential FAQs

Can I order bedding packs from Twin?
Yes we can take care of all of that for you
How does the cleaning service work?
In our residences: A daily cleaning is provided in the common areas. Note that on departure, your room needs to be as clean as the way you found it; if not a cleaning fee will be levied.
Is there a curfew?
No, you may come and go as you feel fit.
Can I invite some friends to stay?
Yes, overnight guests are allowed for a maximum of 3 nights at one time and need to be registered. To book your guests in, please sign the forms at Reception.
Can I smoke in my room?
No, there is a strict non smoking and anti drug policy in our buildings. Anyone caught using illegal substances will be charged £150 fine.

+Flatshare FAQs

How does the cleaning service work?
A cleaner will come once a week for the common areas of the flatshare. You are responsible for keeping your room clean and tidy.

+Hostels FAQs

Is there an age limit to stay here?
Yes, persons under 18 must travel with parents/guardians or a teacher.
