After a busy day sightseeing in London, sometimes a standard-sized meal just won’t do, and for days when you get really hungry, you’ll be pleased to hear that the capital has a huge variety of great buffet restaurants on offer to suit every taste. So, if you’re visiting the capital, and perhaps sharing a flat through Twin Accommodation, here are some great places to take your new friends that will make sure you don’t leave hungry.
With three Rodizio Ricos in London, wherever you’re staying, hopefully you won’t be far from one of these Brazilian restaurants offering delicious dishes. When you first arrive, relax and try a Caipirinha, a traditional Brazilian cocktail, before helping yourself to a variety of salad and Brazilian side dishes from the buffet. Then comes the best bit – on your table there’ll be a card which is green on one side and red on the other. Turn the card green side up and the friendly waiting staff will start bringing a variety of succulent meat straight to your table. Feeling a bit full? Turn the card over and they’ll stop serving you. Maybe have a couple more drinks and then, when you feel like you can eat more, turn the card over again and they’ll be right back!
Now for one of the most traditional buffet cuisines – Chinese. There is a huge choice of Chinese buffet restaurants in the city, but Aroma is definitely one of the best. Located in the bustling Shepherd’s Bush, it’s a good thing you can eat as much as you want because we recommend trying as many of the 50+ delicious dishes on offer as you can! From starters to desserts, there is almost too much to choose from, and considering you can tuck in as much as you like, prices are very reasonable. Make sure you make a trip to the chocolate fountain, too…
Can’t quite decide which cuisine you fancy, or you and your friends prefer different things? Tara Tari in Swiss Cottage is the buffet for you. Designed to cater for the busy lifestyles many people have today, Tara Tari, meaning ‘quickly quickly’, allows you to grab a quick bite from the buffet, (or a big meal if you’re feeling particularly hungry), without having to wait around to be served. Food from around the world is on offer, so whether you fancy Mexican, Chinese, Italian, all three or something else entirely, this is the place to go. Considering how much is on offer, Tara Tari is really great value, too, so make sure you visit.
From Brazilian to Chinese, as you can see London’s buffets are ideal for eating lots on a budget, whatever your tastes. Other top all-you-can-eat restaurants include Hi Sushi Salsa, great for sushi lovers, and if you’re looking for a bit of luxury and are willing to spend a bit more, have brunch in Mayfair at the Cookbook Café, (and treat yourself to unlimited sparkling wine too!). We hope you’re hungry…
