+Homestay FAQs

I will be staying for several weeks. Where can I do my washing?
Your host family will provide one laundry wash per week. If you need more washing done and your host family cannot do it for you, they will show where the nearest launderette is. You are expected to wash your own delicate garments and undergarments.
Can you cater for my special dietary needs (e.g. vegetarian)?
We have a variety of host families so we are able to cater for any of your dietary needs.
Am I able to stay in the same host family as my friend?
We are able to put friends in the same house. You can either share the same room or have a separate room in the same house. We can also put you in separate homes within walking distance if you prefer a little more independence.
I've never been to England and I'm worried about getting to my host family.
Twin Home Stay provide a Meet and Greet service which takes you straight to your accommodation.
I want to be able to cook my own food in my host family.
This is not a problem as we cater for all needs from self catering to full board.
What is considered a host family?
A married couple with/without children
An unmarried couple with/without children
A single mother/father with children
A single male/female without children
If I am incompatible with the host family, will I be able to change?
Yes, if for whatever reason you are not happy, we will change your family.
